Spring Session – First Day Back

What a great first day back we had today! After a very snowy Intersession, we started our Spring session with 83 registered children, plus their siblings (44 families) taking 20 classes, taught by 17 teachers, across the span of 5 1/2 hours. In the middle of one of the most busy times of the day, I took a moment and looked around at what we have all created together. Yes, there was a bit of noise and a certain inevitable amount of choas, but when I took that moment, I saw children from toddlers to teens engaged in playing and learning with each other. I saw parents teaching and supporting their own children, and the other children in our community. I saw teachers working together to find the best way to fit their classes together in the available space. I saw light and color and joy, and I was so proud and happy to be a part of it all. If you would like to see a few pictures of what I saw, click on the link to Spring 2015 – Pictures (the password will be emailed out to all registered families). Have a great week and I’ll see you next Monday!
