Schedule and Registration – Fall 2010

Registration  for the Fall session is currently closed.  Please look for our Winter schedule in January, 2011.

When: We will begin classes on Monday September 27, and end classes on Monday November 08, with no classes on October 11.  Our Sharing Day will take place on Monday, November 15.  We may extend our schedule by one week if necessary, due to snow.

Where: Classes will take place at the Lutz Children’s Museum and Oak Grove Nature Center in Manchester, CT, and you must be a member of the museum to participate in classes.  You can find museum member information at www.lutzmuseum.org.

How: Both registration and payment are available online.  Clicking on the class links below will take you to detailed class descriptions, from which you can add the class directly to your shopping cart.  After completing your selection, you will be able to pay either by credit card or through PayPal.  You will receive an email confirmation of your registration.  If you do not receive this confirmation, be sure to let us know.

Important: There is a space for your child’s name and age on the payment form.  However, there is only space on this form for one child’s information, so you will need to create a separate shopping cart and pay separately for each child.  It takes many hours to process registrations, and all of this work is done by one volunteer.  In order to reduce the amount of time she has to spend on paperwork and bookkeeping, please remember to create this separate shopping cart for each child and to fill out all information completely.  Thank you!

Equally Important: Our organization depends on the volunteer efforts of all our members.  Those members not teaching or serving on the committee can still help out by volunteering to be hallway and field monitors.  In the past we have included information asking for volunteers on the registration form.  In order to simplify our shopping cart, we will be sending this information out separately at some point before the first day of classes.

The last day to register is September 13. Registration after this date is only possible at the discretion of the committee (committee@mhcct.org) and with instructor approval. If you are unable to make an online payment, you can still register for classes.  Contact the committee at: committee@mhcct.org and we will send you a form to fill out and mail in with your check.  Please be sure to allow enough time for us to receive your payment by the above deadline.  No payments will be accepted later than September 13^th. If the classes you would like to register for are full when we receive your registration form in the mail, we will issue you a refund for those classes.

Classes run for 60 mins unless otherwise noted. Expect the first and last 5 mins to be a transition time as children move from one class to another. If you wish to register your child for a class but they are not within the suggested age range, please either speak with the instructor or contact the committee (committee@mhcct.org).
