Registration Information

Please read this information very carefully!

Registration Procedure:

Registration consists of three steps: online registration (you do this at the bottom of this page), processing your registration (we do this), and joining the Lutz Children’s Museum (you do this — see Coop Fee/Membership below).  Once you register online you will receive a confirmation of your registration. Once we process your registration you will receive a separate confirmation, and you will then be asked to send us your Lutz member ID#. Your registration is not complete until we receive this number, and your child may lose their spot in classes if we do not receive it within at least one week prior to the start of classes.

Coop Fee/Membership:

In lieu of a cooperative fee to cover rent and insurance, you must be a member of the Lutz Children’s museum to participate in MHC classes and activities. Not only does membership give you access to all Monday Homeschool Classes activities, it also gives you free admission to ASTC science and technology centers, free or reduced admission to all ACM children’s museums, and helps support a valuable community asset. Membership is pro-rated for the calendar year. For more information about the museum and the benefits of membership, or to become a member of the Lutz Children’s Museum, go to www.lutzmuseum.org.  To learn more about what membership does for our organization in particular, click on Our Partnership with the Lutz.

Community Requirements:

Everyone in our community is required to contribute in some way every week. If you are not teaching a class, you can serve as a museum monitor, field monitor, cleanup and setup crew, teacher assistant, etc. The volunteer coordinator will contact you to sign up for a task.  If none of the jobs on the sheets meet your abilities, please feel free to suggest alternate ways in which you can help.

Community members also agree to our Expectations and Nut-Free Policy, as well as other guidelines developed by the committee as necessary to keep our community strong, connected and safe. We welcome comments and feedback on these expectations. Please visit our About Us page for more information about our group.

Final Registration Deadline: August 10th at 9pm

Late registration is only possible in exceptional situations and with instructor approval. You must contact us at committee@mhcct.org if you would like to register after the deadline.
